We're honored and grateful you've taken this step towards
addressing and improving your mental health and well-being.
We offer a comfortable, welcoming, inconspicuous and confidential office to process whatever brings you in. People we serve often say our space feels more like a friend's living room rather than an office.
We are not just the sum of what has happened to us. We don't have to be or feel stuck. The focus of our work is to help a person experiencing difficulty in their life to recognize the power they have in choosing which path they are more willing to take in any given moment; the difficult path of continuing just as they have or the difficult path of embracing change in the hope for a better tomorrow.
We hope to help a person find opportunities to learn and grow from past experiences, work through current pain and discomfort, and move forward in life with greater health and a stronger sense of personal well-being.
Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar. These are all labels and diagnoses that comprise a cluster of symptoms. While you may be experiencing these symptoms, you are not just a cluster of symptoms. Through our work together, we strive to help you experience the gratitude, enthusiasm and joy that you once had in and for your life.
With advances in neuroscience and brain imaging, we can 'see' the lasting impact of trauma. It's not just in your head, but it is in your brain and it is in your body. We also know with neuroplasticity this damage doesn't have to be permanent. We can work towards healing by processing these issues and moving towards accepting and embracing the beautiful soul that is YOU!
A relationship can be one of the greatest gifts we can share with another person. They can also be one of the greatest sources of stress and distress. We work to help navigate conflicts in relationships and work towards open, honest and whole conversations such that we can be a support and blessing to one another.
